Crafty Carper magazine’s Editor Jerry Bridger with the largest specimen of his three-fish catch during his first session on Birch Grove at the end of May 2010. Jerry targetted the margins in the Bouncing Bobbins swim and caught all three fish over a heavily baited spot of hemp, pellet and chopped boilies.

The famous Birch Grove is an exclusive 5-acre carp fishing lake set in Shropshire. Tim Paisley controls the water and during the months of June to October, the water is rented on a weekly basis to parties of up to four carp anglers who have exclusive use of the lake and the facilities.
The water can be a challenging one but Birch is simply a lovely place to visit.
Birch Grove is well stocked with both mirror and common carp and some of the latest captures recorded from the water have included numerous 20s and a increasing number of 30lb+ fish.
